Privacy policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
Casiny NZ Review is a reading site. There are no accounts to create, no forms to fill in and nothing to buy, so we hold very little about our visitors. This page explains exactly what that little is, why we keep it and how you can ask about it.
Who is responsible
The editorial team behind Casiny NZ Review is responsible for this site and for the small amount of information described below. You can reach us through the contact page. Casiny Casino is a separate business with its own privacy policy, and it handles anything you share after following one of our links.
What we never collect
We never see your casino password, identity documents, card numbers, bank details or betting history. When you press Log In, Register or Play, you leave our pages for Casiny, and everything you type there is covered by the casino's privacy policy.
What we do keep
- Your cookie choice. Saved in your own browser through local storage, so the banner does not appear on every page. It records which categories you accepted and the date, and nothing else.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard access data such as IP address, time, page requested and browser type. These logs help us keep the site secure and are deleted after 30 days.
- Visit statistics, only with your consent. If you switch on the analytics category, we count visits and popular sections in aggregate. We do not use them to build a profile of any person.
- Emails you send us. Kept only as long as we need to reply and follow up, then deleted within 12 months.
Why we keep it
We use this information to run the site safely, to understand which guides readers find useful and to answer your messages. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
The redirect page
When you click through to the casino, our redirect page passes the name of this site and any campaign parameters from the link, so the operator can see that the visit came from us. No personal data is added.
Where the data is stored
Server logs sit with our hosting provider, which may store them outside New Zealand. We choose providers with strong security practices and access controls.
How we protect it
The whole site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to server logs and to our mailbox is limited to the editors and protected with two-step sign-in. We keep only what is listed on this page and delete it on schedule.
| Information | Kept for |

Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Send the request through the contact page with "Privacy" in the subject line and we will reply within 20 working days. If you are unhappy with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Children
This site is written for adults and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
